After a few crazy weeks of school, work and just life, we are packing up and hitting the road for our summer (we’ll, half term) break in France.

Once again we are driving (don’t ask why!) but heading a little further south.

First stop, Orleans – although I keep having to remind hubster that this is the original Orleans and not the American city.

Then we’ll be heading to the Dordogne to try out Eurocamp for the first time. I’ve always wanted to visit that region of France. Kids are excited. I’m slightly nervous about the packing, the drive and the campsite living. We aren’t even staying in a tent, but the weather forecast isn’t exactly what we were hoping for… 😳

Either way, I’m still looking forward to getting away with my gang and having some quality time.

I’ll make sure I share our adventures and any other tips once we are back in Blighty, but as always I’m open to tips and recommendations from you guys!
