So my 6 year old has just finished infant school for the summer. Being off with new baby, means this will be the first time I’ve been able to spend the entire school holiday with him.

Five weeks, two kids, one mum, zero money (aka maternity pay). Eeeek!!

Finding things to entertain kids on a limited budget will be tough but I’m determined to keep them busy and happy. This has been keeping me up at night for a few weeks now, like many parents I’m sure.

So I’ve decided to share our experiences of the summer and anything that comes after that. All the things that keep my mind ticking as a parent and wife. I’m not sure how this will pan out, but I’m hoping it will be a place to air my opinions, grievances, observations and maybe even a little of advice.
